How did you get into learning Salsa and Bachata dance in Singapore?
I was in Sydney when I first saw live Latin dancing. The energy and spirit left an impression on me. I was low-key entranced by the music and moves. Fast forward to recent times, I was exploring the ClassPass app and chanced upon Caliente Dance Studio. I went for class and never looked back since. Over time, my interest and fascination with Latin dance has grown, I'm now especially inspired by Bachata music and dance.
What is your favourite dance class and why?
I enjoy all solo and partner Salsa and Bachata dance classes! Solo dance allows you to interpret the music and express yourself without having to say anything.😂 Partner dance allows you to connect with your partner through lead/follow cues, and enjoy the dance in the moment. 💃🏻The instructors at Caliente Dance Studio are friendly, attentive to technical detail, and passionate about their craft. Ultimately, their enthusiasm is infectious!
What do you enjoy the most about dancing Salsa and Bachata?
The music, the community, and getting lost in the moment!
